ABOUT OUR FOUNDER & Our Mission
Mountain Monet is the brainchild of artist, author and former journalist Marisa Zeppieri. She received her degree in Art from The Art institutes and recently relocated to walhalla, South carolina from new york.
her husband and sister-in-law are the new owners of mountain mocha, where art parties can be hosted (if you don't have your own site to hosT), giving participants an opportunity to truly eat, drink and be merry thanks to an abundance coffee, tea, ice cream and pastry options.

before starting Mountain monet, marisa enjoyed a 14-year health journalism career and is the author of the recent memoir, chronically fabulous, available in bookstores nationwide. She is also a former Mrs. New York where she ran on the platform of educating about lupus and chronic illness. A lupus patient herself, she uses art as a form of therapy and self-care and believes in its healing powers.

With Mountain Monet's "Fun for Funds" fundraising mission, you aren't just hosting a party. You are giving back at the same time. Five percent of all party profits are donated to LupusChick, which provides college scholarships for lupus patients. SO far, 19 scholarships have been awarded in the past nine years!
